WORKPLAN ACTIVITIES CONSIST OF INSTALLING APPROXIMATELY 1,200 LINEAR FEET OF NEW SEWER MAIN ALONG THE SOUTH SIDE OF RUNNYMEDE ROAD. THIS WILL ELIMINATE THE NEED FOR THE NINE (9) EXISTING AERIAL SEWER SERVICE LATERALS, ONE (1) EXISTING AERIAL SEWER MAIN, AND ONE (1) AERIAL WATER MAIN. THE EXISTING AERIAL LINES SPANNING ACROSS RUNNYMEDE BRANCH WILL BE REPLACED WITH UNDERGROUND PIPING OR BE REMOVED COMPLETELY. THE STORMWATER COMPONENT OF THIS PROJECT INCLUDES INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS OF THE PIPE SYSTEM, SPANNING FROM RUNNYMEDE ROAD THROUGH THE OUTFALL LOCATED SOUTH OF NORTHWEST BOULEVARD. THE PIPE SYSTEM IS DETERIORATING AND POSSIBLY OVER CAPACITY, REQUIRING THE SYSTEM TO BE REPLACED. UPON COMPLETION OF THE INFRASTRUCTURE UPGRADE, THE STREAM RESTORATION AND STABILIZATION OF RUNNYMEDE BRANCH WILL COMMENCE. APPROXIMATELY 1,300 LINEAR FEET OF STREAM BANK IS UNSTABLE AND SEVERELY ERODED. STREAM BANK STABILIZATION AND STREAM RESTORATION WORK WILL BE COMPLETED USING NATURAL CHANNEL DESIGN METHODOLOGY.SUBRECIPIENT:NO SUBAWARDS ARE INCLUDED IN THIS ASSISTANCE AGREEMENT.OUTCOMES:THE ANTICIPATED DELIVERABLES INCLUDE REPLACING SEVERAL UTILITY AERIAL STREAM CROSSINGS, REPAIRING AND STABILIZING EXISTING STREAMBANKS IN RUNNYMEDE BRANCH, REPLACING AND REHABILITATING STORM DRAINAGE INFRASTRUCTURE WHILE RESTORING THE PARK AND HISTORICAL FEATURES AND CHARACTERISTICS. THE EXPECTED OUTCOMES INCLUDE PROVIDING RESIDENCES WITH RELIABLE ACCESS TO POTABLE WATER AND ALLOWING PROPER DISPOSAL OF WASTEWATER, REDUCING THE CHANCES OF CONTAMINATION OF THE STREAM AND SURROUNDING ENVIRONMENTS.
